I saw some of my coworkers recent haircuts and asked where they went. They all had good things to say about Handsome John’s Barbershop. I researched and found quality reviews so, I scheduled an appointment. It was easy, clear and fast - even added to my google calendar! The shop is clean with a strong playlist - Stapleton was playing when I walked in. Easy to see that Mr. John and Mr. Fletcher love what they do and take pride in their work - great guys. My appointment was with Mr. John who greeted me by name and took the time to listen to my requests. The barber chairs are pretty cool! Haircut, beard trim with a line up and then a shave - it was awesome! Attention to detail and quality tools. I can only pray that these guys stay for a while!
I have been visiting Handsome John’s shop since Victor opened a chair there! Him and the other 2 barbers always make you feel welcome and are very professional. I drive over an hour and a half just to get my haircut from Vic, he is top notch!!
I waited 37 years existing on this planet before I decided to have the “barber shop” experience. I’m talking the whole shave and a haircut kinda thing, not just a haircut from one of them “great” or “sports” places. I decided to try it out a few months ago and really enjoyed it. However, I felt the need to try out some different spots to see which one felt right for me. Fast forward to today(6/21/2024). Handsome John’s was my second stop and it may be the last. Great spot, great service, and it really gave me that barber shop feel I was looking for. I will 100% be returning for my next shave and a haircut, (well half a haircut because old and balding) and hopefully many thereafter.
Victor is incredible! He is only the second of ALL the barbers I have tried that has gotten my hair to my liking. Super glad I found him.
My new barber. Right now there was little to no wait, that won't last. Had some fun conversation, got my big ol noggin squared up, and made my beard look like the 'Beard of Zeus' that Ron Burgundy spoke so highly of.
To preface this review I am highly satisfied with the whole experience this shop affords. I loved the vibe the shop was throwing out, and the gentleman that assisted us. I swear if this barbershop ever wants to start a magic mike show they’d make a killing. If salt bae was a barber, he’d work here… Also our teen wanted a hair cut and they did not disappoint, I would have given the same review on their talent, not just with our kiddo but with the other clients they had cleaned up as well. However if you happen to be in the area I recommend taking your husband, son, neighbor for a haircut…
Best cut in the state! I drove 1.5 hours for opening day, well worth the drive. The shop has a great vibe. If you go once you will never stop.
Great barber shop. Fletcher is extremely personable, and is an outstanding barber (I haven't had any of the others cut my hair, so only speaking from my personal experience.) Reservations are highly recommended and the shops website can handle that process seamlessly. Update: They have a new barber named Victor who is personable, and from what I've seen, gives a great cut!
